  Atmanirbhar Assam 2023 The government of Assam, under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, has unveiled a new program in an effort to promote entrepreneurship among the state's young. The announcement was made at the cabinet meeting on September 12, 2023. The program is called Mukhyamantrir Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan. Atmanirbhar Asom is essentially a project to assist the aspiring youth in their entrepreneurial journey through strong financial and policy support.   2 lakh eligible beneficiaries are intended to be reached through this program over the course of the next two years, with 1 lakh targeted in FY 2023–2024 and 1 lakh in FY 2024–25.
